Chitravina N Ravikiran teams up with the New York based Terra String Quartet players Harriet Langley (Violin), Amelia Dietrich (Violin), Sarah Sung (Viola), Justin Goldsmith (Cello) and Ben Ferris (Double Bass) in an exciting 3-dimensional event highlighting the genius of Mendelssohn and the versatility of Swati Tirunal, performed in traditional style before a climactic coming together of all the artists who perform three Swati Tirunal compositions that have been Melharmonically arranged for Western orchestras by Ravikiran, Akshara, Sanjay and Arjun. This is probably the first time this great Kerala composer’s works are being showcased in orchestral form.
