MACRO MOTIVES:

This first-of-its-kind 24-hour International Art-Science-Societal Confluence aims to:

  • Inspire One Billion High and Mid income citizens to be a part of Collective Micro Climate Action Movement (CMCAM) to supplement the efforts of Govts, Businesses and NGOs and enable them to make Lifestyle Changes for the Environment.
  • Provide simple actionable Climate Solutions to global citizens such as Roof and Land Greening, Rainwater Management and Renewable Energy in their own premises, besides conscious sustainable consumption choices.
  • Raise an initial US$100 Million in cash or through Climate Collaborations in underprivileged areas for the above initiatives as also for Climate Literacy short films, productions, Events for Environment etc.
  • Encourage Technological and Organic Climate Solutions to tackle macro issues such as reducing over 40 Trillion Tons of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.
  • Highlight Climate Champions and Student Climate Innovators.  
  • Catalyze Government legislations & incentives to facilitate Climate Action.
  • Ensure a greater media coverage of climate solutions.
  • Create a series of recommendations to be shared in COP and other appropriate forums.

HOW WILL THE CLIMATE ACTION FUNDS BE DEPLOYED

Donations can be by way of Cash (using the QR Codes/Donation links in our website), Kind OR through Climate Action Collaborations in any region of the Donor’s choice.  Examples:  Planting 100,000 trees or Roof Plants or building 10,000 Recharge Wells or 10KW Solar panels/Wind Turbines in an underprivileged area in Africa, Asia, South America etc.

  • Climate Literacy & Action Drives including Events and 30-60 second (or longer) Climate Awareness Films, at times with celebrities as well as Audio Visual productions like Climatrix Symphony 
  • Roof & Land Greening, Rainwater Management and Clean Energy initiatives for the underprivileged 
  • Donations to Collaborators and other organisations already implementing these and similar initiatives 
  • Student Engagements like Climate Action and Solution competitions 
  • Any other activities in tune with the above 
  • Reasonable logistical, administrative and promotional expenses

Climate Patrons and EFGs of PSE

The PSE is a movement by the people for the people.  While we request Governments, Corporates, Charities and Philanthropists to be our Climate Patrons, we also wish to directly engage with the people who can be our Environmental Fund Generators by donating a token $1 or Indian Rs 10 or higher, as a symbol of solidarity with the PSE’s Vision and Activities.  Please use Donate Buttons or QR codes to donate in Dollars or Indian Rupees.
